Team Lead (IT), Head of Development

We are looking for a Head of Development / Team Lead (IT), who is responsible for a team with more than 20 developers. This is a great position for an experienced software development manager who would like to bring his career to the next level, become an executive manager in an Europe based international IT services company.

You have experience with: Android developing, Kotlin, Fullstack developing process (React, GraphQL) and AWS web service?

You can become the Team Lead of our team if:

- Our ideal candidate is an engineering manager, project manager or IT entrepreneur. Experience working in technology start-ups, tech. companies or IT services companies is highly appreciated.
- Experience as a team leader in IT development
- Deploy and maintain functional, secure and high-quality applications. Manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release
- Fluency in modern development stack and processes.
- Strategyst: You can create a roadmap for the development of information and the latest technologies, practical ways to implement new functions. You can advise developers on improving development options and know several programming languages
- Have experience in implementing electronic document management, information security and tracking corporate security protocols
- You will be able to implement the approach «everything that is possible is automated, and everything that is impossible is simplified» service maintenance of equipment
- Transform the current development management system at all levels
- Develop strategies and policies in IT processes
- Intermediate level of English or higher. A plus: Basic level of German or higher

How long does your recruitment process typically take?
We do our best to review your application as soon as possible. Depending on the position you have applied for, and your own availability, it usually takes us 1 - 2 weeks to complete your hiring process.
What steps are involved in the recruitment process?
Each position is different and also requires different skills, so the individual steps to evaluate those skills may differ. To ensure consistency, all candidates that apply for the same role have the exact same steps in our recruitment process. At a high level, we do a Recruitment screening, technical assignment, onsite loop, reference calls and a final round with our managing director.
Is HS-Soft a remote-only company?
No! 98% of the HS-Soft team is working in our offices. Depending on position and location agreements about remote work will be discussed and agreed individually.
Who will I speak with during the recruitment process?
Throughout the hiring process, your point of contact will always be Mr. Mautsch. He will advise you on the role, our company, hiring process as well as organize with you some technical test task.
How does HS-Soft employ people?
At this time we provide official employment status to those located in Switzerland. While we are looking at expanding this, all other candidates join our team as a full-time independent contractor and are responsible for paying any taxes or fees where they reside. Employees and contractors are treated with the same internal autonomy. They are also eligible for all of our benefits. Moreover, we provide 20 paid holidays, paid sick leave and compensating cost for tax.
